Effects of Saturn Transit in Saggitarius

Saturn moves in twelve Rashi’s of Zodiac once in about 30 years. In the process, each rashi (zodiac sign) experiences the position of Saturn for a period of two and a half years, before moving into the next sign. Saturn was in Scorpio from 2nd Nov 2014 to 26th Jan 2017. The slow moving planet finally leaves Scorpio to move into Sagittarius on 26th Jan 2017.  Saturn, the biggest Cosmic Player moves to Sagittarius on 26th Jan 2017 at 18:13 hours

Saturn turns retrograde in Sagittarius on 7th April and re-enters Scorpio on 21st June 2017. From 21st June to 27th Oct Saturn continues its journey in Scorpio and transits to Sagittarius yet again on 27th Oct 2017.

Saturn moves in retrograde motion, yet again from 19th April 2018 to 6th Sept 2018. Thereafter Saturn continues its direct motion in Sagittarius till 1st May 2019. From 1st may 2019 to 19th Sept 2019, Saturn moves in retrogression and finally transits to its own sign Capricorn on 25th Jan 2020.

In this journey of Saturn, sade saati effects will be over for Libra Rashi natives. Those born in Scorpio Rashi will experience the last phase while those born in Sagittarius will go through the peak of sade saati. Natives of Capricorn Rashi will begin their first phase of sade saati as Saturn transits to Sagittarius.

This Change will effect Capricorn and Saggi zodiac signs a lot. Additionally, it will be positive for commodity markets – people dealing in metals, iron etc. Finance will still see average movement.

8th house transit of Saturn, ‘Ashtam Shani’, would be experiences by natives born in Taurus while 10th house transit, ‘Kantak Shani’ impact will be experienced by Virgo natives

8th House in Kundali

There are so much negative things written about the 8th house that those who are learning astrology gets brainwashed by negativity when they come across anything related to the 8th house. Many feel that this is one of the most complex houses of the horoscope as it contains complicated, important, and challenging issues that we face in life.

Nature:- 8th House dominated people are very Disciplined people in Life, Serious types. They also follow occult science a lot. Non scientific and coward people too. They are at times shabby and doesn’t have fashion sense at all.

Business & Career :- Insurance sector, Security Guard Business, Military, Police, Retail Business, Small Machinery business, Surgeons, Doctors, Astrologers, Tantriks and many more.

Eighth house is the house of longevity. This house is considered to be extremely important for determining longevity. It also tells a lot about certain subjects like disrespect, sorrow, debts and death. This house helps us to analyze certain obstacles in a person’s life. This house also gives us an idea about how long a person would live.

Results of the planet will depend on its strength. If there is any planet in the eighth house, it tends to lose its auspicious qualities. Due to this, Saturn is considered to be auspicious in eighth house. This is because Saturn provides longevity to a person. The Lord of eighth house protects this house. The strength of eighth house will be determined by its associations and aspects.

If we analyze some other opinions, the Lord of eighth house gives sudden results. It tells us about obstacles which are about to come. Wherever the Lord of eighth house aspects, you experience obstacles related to those areas. Whenever the Lord of eighth house is in a house, you are able to experience some sudden effects related to that house.

This house also explains all kinds of gifts a person gives in his life. Some subjects which can be analyzed through this house include income, secret earnings, foreign tours, mystery, auspicious place for women, accidents, delay, disappointment, obstacles, mental stress, mystical science and so on.

Saturn is the Karak planet of eighth house. Saturn is analyzed for longevity. Similarly, eighth house is also primarily used to gather information about longevity. Eighth house also discusses about minor obstacles in life. If the Lord of eighth house and Lord of ninth house are forming a Parivartan Yoga, a person inherits paternal property. If a Parivartan Yoga is being formed by the Lord of eighth house and Lord of tenth house, a person may face obstacles and experience betrayals. He has to face ups and downs in life.

Mysterious RAHU

All the planets, which I have discussed above, have physical and visual existence. But Rahu and Ketu have no physical shape. These are the imaginary points in the sky. But even then, Rahu is considered most powerful and has been allotted the status of a planet by our Rishis and seers. Mostly, Rahu confers malefic effect. He is considered a dirty planet indicating laziness, filthiness, delays and hurdles. He stays for 18 months in a zodiac sign.

In Hindu mythology there is an interesting fiction that describes how Rahu and Ketu came into existence. Once both, the gods and the demons agreed to form an alliance to produce nectar that could give them immortality. Nectar was to be obtained by churning the ocean. In the process, nectar was churned out. When the nectar was being served to the gods, a demon, disguised as a god, and sat between the Sun and the Moon in an attempt to acquire the nectar. The demon was recognized by the Sun and the Moon who complained of the demon to Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu immediately severed his head from his chakra. But the demon had already consumed enough nectar to make him immortal. The head of the demon, known as Rahu, became immortal. And the remaining corpse of the demon was known as Ketu. Ever since, Rahu and Ketu became the strong enemy of Sun and Moon. Sun and Moon eclipses occur due to Rahu and Ketu who swallow up Sun and Moon when they come near to them. In this way Rahu and Ketu take their revenge from Sun and Moon.

In Vedic astrology Rahu and Ketu are known as two invisible planets and they are strong enemies of the Sun and the Moon. Rahu and Ketu are actually the astronomical points in the sky respectively called the north and south lunar nodes. The places of intersection where the Moon`s path meet the Sun`s path is known as North Lunar Node and South Lunar Node respectively. Thus, the relation of Rahu and Ketu with Sun and Moon has been described through the language of symbol in Hindu mythology.

Rahu is a powerful and malefic planet. This is a favorable planet of the politicians. He gives them great opportunity and power to rise in the politics through any means fair or unfair. He also rules over thieves, jail, magicians, snake, poison and isolated places etc. Rahu has also the power to confer sudden wealth.

Being a shadow planet, Rahu has not been allotted any Zodiac Sign. Even then, Rahu exalts in Taurus Sign. If placed negative in a horoscope, he can create confusion, depression and emotional imbalances. On the other hand, he also has the power to make a person wealthy and popular.

Rahu professions: Rahu is a legendary master of deception who signifies cheaters, GAMBLING, LOTTREY BUSINESS, CAREER IN FOREIGN, pleasure seekers, operators in foreign lands, drug dealers, poison dealers, insincere & immoral acts, etc.

Rahu diseases: It gives suicidal tendencies, fears, phobias, poisonous bites, murder, theft, imprisonment, and diseases like cholera, dysentery, skin diseases, swelling of the uterus, and constipation.

Rahu Signs: Friendly signs are Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Cancer and Leo are its enemy signs. Mercury, Venus, and Saturn are friendly planets. Rahu is an enemy of Sun, Moon, and Mars. Rahu gives auspicious results in Taurus and Libra. Rahu is capable of giving power when rightly posited or exalted, and it gives fame, success in politics, money, and physical beauty (i.e., attraction).

Rahu behaves like saturn: Rahu is regarded as similar to Saturn in its effect. Smoky blue is its color, instinctual and animalistic its nature. Rahu is interested only in achieving all that gives pleasure, and even if it achieves all it wants, it is never satisfied (which is true of our animalistic nature). Although Rahu rules no sign of the zodiac, the zodiacal sign Virgo is its sign. Virgo is in fact assigned to Mercury, but Rahu being akin to Saturn and Mercury being a friend of Saturn, Rahu thus has authority over Virgo.

Rahu god of chemical industry: Rahu governs all sorts of poisonous chemicals like fertilizers, pesticides, and disinfectants that are in use in the present times. It also governs all the substances with a strong pungent smell like the sulphur-dioxide gas. In other words Rahu has a role to play whenever a poisonous substance is involved. There is no equal to Rahu when it comes to giving Upliftment in Name and Fame , Sudden Luck Gambling, which is probably the reason why Western astrologers regard it as the greatest benefic force.

The gemstone associated with Rahu is a honey colored hessonite (Gomed). Its element is air and direction is south-west. Rahu reaches full maturity at age 42. The Puranas describe Rahu as half-bodied, born of a lioness, snakelike, having a huge body and being extraordinarily powerful. The Skanda Purana says that Rahu is instrumental in strengthening ones power and converting even an enemy into a friend. The effect of snakebite is removed by his grace. The lunar and solar eclipses are attributed to Rahu and Ketu. Rahu and Ketu stay 1 1/2 years in each Graha.

Rahu is the strongest enemy of Sun and Moon. There is much lore and mystery surround the Moon’s Nodes in Vedic myth, and they are considered of paramount importance in chart interpretation. In fact, in assessing planetary power, the only Graha that is more powerful than the Sun is Rahu, the North Node of the Moon, because of his ability to swallow the Sun during a total solar eclipse.

5 Important things must-Follow in Karva Chauth

5 important must-follow rituals of Karva Chauth

Karva Chauth is perhaps the most followed and celebrated festival by married women in India. On this day, women fast and spend their day in prayers. Karva Chauth is observed by married women of all ages and even young girls who wish to seek the desired soul mate. In 2016, Karva Chauth occurs on 19th October 2016.

Here are five important rituals married women must observe on Karva Chauth to get more benefits from this festival:

1. Sargi – Sargi is an important part of the festival. Before the day of Karva Chauth, the mother-in-law must gift her daughter-in-law Sargi – a gift including sweets, gifts such as clothes, bangles etc. and freniya, matthi. The daughter-in-law must consume this on Karva Chauth, early in the morning before sunrise.

  1. Baya – Like Sargi is gifted to the daughter-in-law by the mother-in-law, the Baya is a gift from the girl’s mother. It is a gift containing fruits, dry fruits, sweets, and gifts. The Baya should the girl before the Karva Chauth vrata Katha begins on the day of Karva Chauth.
  2. Wearing the marital outfit – Marriage is an important tradition among Indians. The wedding costume – lehenga, sari or salwar-suit, is considered very sacred and is maintained by all married women. On the day of Karva Chauth, married women must do all Solah-Shringar and wear their wedding dress. If they are unable to do so, bright colors signifying marriage should be worn.
  3. Karva Chauth Songs and prayers – On this day, women assemble to do the Karva Chauth prayers. All decorated Thalis (including their Sargi and Diya) are passed on while the Karva Chauth song is sung. All married women fasting and following rituals of Karva Chauth must sing and pray together.
  4. Listen to Karva Chauth Katha – It is important to listen to the Katha. Many of us don’t pay the story of karva Chauth any heed but it is an important ritual and one must be attentive.

Happiness v/s Sadness in Life

In Northern India, if someone laughs too much and is too happy, they say, “Don’t laugh so much. It will be followed by misery.” (Hasse Da Manasa) This is an unfortunate kind of wisdom some people have come to because life has been like that to them. If they experience too much joy today, misery will strike them tomorrow. This is because people work themselves up. In their minds, they multiply both misery and joy. Now you may ask, “If we don’t do this, where is the beauty in life?” Life is beautiful as it is. You do not have to give it a coat of make-up.

It is because you have no attention for life in its fundamental sense that you are lost in your psychological reality. The psychological and physiological aspects of who you are happen in cycles. You may be overly exuberant and on a high today and hit the bottom tomorrow. Most human beings are going through this psychological rollercoaster. You will always find some outside influence as an excuse, but even if we lock you up in a room and there is no one who can cause happiness or misery to you, still these psychological cycles will happen. Similarly, there are physiological cycles, and both the psychological and the physiological cycles can influence each other, depending on which is the bigger force at that moment.

The knowledge about these cycles has sunk into people in a certain way, and they kind of psych themselves into believing that anyway misery will strike them – and it will. If you understand that you alone make up both joy and misery, there will be no problem. The biggest mistake that people make is they try to be happy. And not only happy – they try to be happier than someone else. That is a serious problem. Do not try to be happy. Once you experientially know that whatever happens within you is caused by you and nothing else but you, you will be blissful. You will neither be flying high nor will you be in the dumps – you will just be blissful. This maintainable height of pleasantness may be different from person to person, depending upon the intensity and the amount of energy that you have, but it is a stable platform. If you want to enjoy an ecstatic state, you can always go up and come back. If you like melancholy, you can go down and come back up again

Anger in Astrology

In astrology, 12th House + Mars = cause a lot of anger

Anger should be controlled otherwise it’s a big issue which can cause problems in the future.

Aries – Start drinking water/milk in a silver glass. Do Om at least for a minute every morning and evening. Don’t eat heavy food at night.

Taurus – Start looking at the Sun and do Gayatri Mantra if possible.

Gemini – Stay away from the color green. Feed green grass to cows and make sure you feel the cow and pet it while/after eating. Leave green vegetables at a place where there’s a lot of water.

Cancer – Your anger can cause a mental imbalance in the future. You also have a lot of mood swings. So you need to control your anger a lot. Wear a sfatik necklace. Do japa of Devi and krishna ji.

Leo – You are generally full of a lot of anger. Watch sunrise, wear a red thread in your neck with your isht’s yantra. If you don’t know your isht, then on Mondays, wear a silver ring in your index finger. Drink water and keep taking deep breaths.

Virgo – Satsang, be with a guru, sit in your place of worship for a while, wear a yellow thread in your right hand, going for a stroll after drinking some water in the morning.

Libra – Usually, these people are calm, but if they start getting anger, it effects their health. Sit under a peepal tree and meditate, use peepal tree’s branch as a toothbrush, give water to Peepal tree on Saturdays. Try not to pile on too much work, it will also make you angry.

Scorpio – You have a lot of anger, some people just don’t show anger, but you can burst sometimes or you show anger a few times during the day. Start wearing pink, yellow, and white. Take a green bottle and fill it with water. Keep it in front of sun light only for 11 days, put it away at night. Put wood under the bottle. Start taking a few drops after waking up. Start meditating.

Sagittarius – Normally, they don’t have a lot of anger. They sometimes are very egoistic which causes anger. Always wear a silver ring in your middle finger or thumb. The ring shouldn’t have any joints in it. If you don’t increase your knowledge, your anger will start increasing. So, keep studying, talking to intelligent people, anything to increase your knowledge as you were born with a great knowledge which needs to increase even more.

Capricorn – Stay away from red color. Wear cream and white colors. You can wear Moonga in a silver chain if your anger is controlled. If your anger isn’t controlled, then wear a sfatik necklace. Also, take water/milk from mother in the morning. Take a conch and put it in a pot full of water and then drink the water in the morning. If you put the water in a silver glass and then drink it, the effects will be even more.

Aquarius – You can get agitated and you’re not used to saying sorry, which causes problems. If you can get iron/copper/silver coins which have a hole in the middle, then wear those in your neck in a black thread. Or take a Bichhu Ghas root and wear it in a black thread in your neck. Stop talking and walking fast, this will decrease your anger.

Pisces – You can get wildly angry briefly, but afterwards you don’t compromise afterwards. You don’t say sorry for your mistakes. Wear a copper/silver ring in your thumb. Drink coconut water everyday. Eat saunf, mishri, and coconut.

Make sure you teach a child to say sorry when they get angry to make sure they don’t turn into angry personalities. If you want to protect yourself from Grahan Dosh – when Rahu-Ketu disturb your Moon and Sun then it effects your mental peace – keep a piece of silver with you at all times, distribute/donate Gangajal. For disturbance to Sun, keep a piece of copper with you at all times, and do Gayatri Yag on Sundays.

What is real meaning of Mahurat ?

Humans always select an appropriate time before starting any venture for the successful completion of the work and to bring happiness and prosperity in their lives. The same is also done to achieve success without facing any hurdles, to put life on the path of progress and to achieve recognition, respect and honour. ‘Muhurat’ is to select an appropriate time for starting a new venture. To get the desired results in new ventures, we decide different frames for different kinds of work, for which we consider the combination of Panchang, Tithi, Vaar, Nakshatra, Karan and Yoga.

Time has the potential to make one either strong or weak. A Muhurat which is fruitful for some one, can be proved inauspicious for others. The best example of this proverb can be seen in Mahabharata.

In the battle of Mahabharata, King Dhritrashtra asked the auspicious time before starting of the battle to Sahdev (with a desire in his heart to see Pandava’s defeat and attainment of victory for Kaurava’s). Lord Krishna was aware of this fact. So, Lord Krishna disillusioned Arjuna and started delivering sermons in order to delay the Muhurat of Kaurava’s victory. As soon as the favourable time for Kaurava’s came to an end and auspicious time started for Pandavas, the battle of Mahabharata was started. The auspicious time chosen by Dhritrashtra for the battle, was spent by Shri Krishna delivering the sermons to Arjun. That is a sufficient example to prove that the same auspicious time cannot be used by different natives for different purposes. For this reason, Panchang is used and keeping view of the ascendant and the Moon Lagana, an appropriate time frame is selected for the native or for an incident to take place. This makes it clear that future can be changed for good if the work is started in Shubh Muhurat.

The time of birth should be considered a Muhurat, because a child’s future is based on the rising Moon and the configuration of the planets at the time of birth. In this context, the birth of King Akbar is well known. It is said that, when Akbar’s mother’s delivery pain started, the time was not appropriate for the future of the child, but the delivery pain was postponed or put to an end is a debatable subject. After sometime, when the delivery pain started again, the auspicious planets were present in the ascendant indicating the bright future of the child. And there is no doubt that Akbar proved to be a Great emperor of ‘Mughal Dynasty’. It also indicates that work started at a good time leads to a good life.

‘Muhurat’ means to take out an auspicious time for starting work by predictive astrology, which leads to strong possibilities for the successful completion of work.

It is also said –
The true ‘Muhurat’ is one when one remembers God.

It is because, Jyotish Muhurat cannot go against the law of God. They can only bring possible changes. The great scholar of astrology took out the ‘Muhurat’ for coronation of Lord Shri Ram, but exactly at the same Muhurat he had to go into exile. The ‘Muhurat’ could not stop Lord’s exile but it proved to be conducive for the well being of saints and saviour of religion. However, ‘Muhurat’ cannot change the conditions but it is capable to change the directions. For this point of view, Muhuratas have been very important in our lives.

But there are some work which have to be performed urgently and it is not possible to first take out Muhurata and then start the work. If a person has got heart attack or met with an accident he immediately requires medical help. The question arises, should he be taken to the doctor after only taking out the Muhurata? Or a soldier should go to the war in a Shubh Muhurata. There is no need to blindly follow the concept but to understand the substantial meaning of it. Marriages are generally performed in Shubh muhurata only, but many marriages are unsuccessful. The key to get success lies in starting the work with true feelings and faith as Muhuratas results are more effective.

If anything has to be said about ‘Muhurat’, it can be said that whether like a car it will be able to reach its destination smoothly. It depends upon so many things. All the parts of the car should be in good condition, wheels of car should have correct quantity of air, and diesel or petrol should be in correct measurement and the driver should be an expert. The car can’t reach the destination in time safely if anyone of the above mentioned factors is not fit or perfect. The same way, an auspicious Muhurata cannot change the future of work started and done by us completely. Inauspicious Muhurat is caused by combination of Tithi, Time of Vaar, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karan, Ghati, Chaughariya, Hora which produce in negative results, while positive results can be gained by working in auspicious Muhurata and the bad results of Tithi & Nakshatra can be avoided.

Arthar Veda has sufficient sutras for starting work in Shubh Muhurata for various purposes like Health, long life, prosperity, growth in business, favour from the seniors, Promotions, Education, growth in intelligence, victory over enemies, Happy married life and Children etc. which have very clearly the principles for starting these in an auspicious Muhurata.

If the seed is sown by farmers in an auspicious Muhurat in the month of October & November, the crop is good. But if the farmers sow the seeds in August & September the crop will not be good. If sown in the auspicious Muhurat & infertile land, the crop will not grow.

The change in future means all around changes in future which leads the path to Artha (financial), Dharama (religion), Karma (profession), Moksha (emancipation). The work done in Shubh muhurat increases the possibilities of success, which becomes the reason of all round changes in future for the good.

The following points should be followed for counting Muhurata.

(1) Nakshatra on the day of event, and its placement of its lord in one’s Kundali

(2) Day Lord

(3)The Muhutat, when lagana and Moon are transiting on a retrograde planet Nakshatra, or the Lord of Nakshatra- Saturn and Moon should not be combined at the time of Muhurat otherwise there will be hurdles and will not yield fruitful results.

(4) The work should be performed in an auspicious Muhurata only, it should not be delayed if your guests or chief guest or relatives have not reached on time
